Triple-Action Cholestoril Shield™ combines two ingredients that work together in three ways to help you retain healthy cholesterol levels already within normal limits. Pantethine acts at the synthesis stage in the liver to help support healthy cholesterol production. Phytosterols work in the intestines to help impede the body's ability to absorb cholesterol from foods. They also impede reabsorption of cholesterol from bile.

You get cholesterol from your diet and your body produces it. Cholesterol in the diet is found only in animal-derived foods (meat, milk, eggs, poultry, etc.). So, there are two ways you can retain healthy cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range: change your diet and/or influence your body's healthy cholesterol-making activity. |
