Murray, Clinical Nutrients Antioxidant contains high concentrations of antioxidant nutrients in a base of unique herbal extracts and other natural compounds. Beta carotene, vitamin E, vitamin C, selenium, zinc, and manganese all have antioxidant functions. Riboflavin helps regenerate antioxidants after they have neutralized free radicals. This super-antioxidant complex also provides an extract of green tea and procyanidolic oligomers (PCOs) from grape seeds. These substances are 50 to 200 times more potent than vitamin E. Curcumin, the yellow pigment of Curcuma (turmeric), and N-acetylcysteine, a stable form of the amino acid cysteine, are also powerful antioxidants. In addition, this formula supplies concentrated extracts of cabbage, garlic, ginger, and Klamath blue-green algae.
