The carbon in the Plus model is impregnated with potassium iodide to make it more effective at removing formaldehyde, ammonia and other VOC's. This filter specifically designed for Chemical Sensitivity and is recommended for use in new homes, laboratories, beauty salons, etc. Available in white or black.
