The Pet Machine™ has a True Medical HEPA filter surrounded by a carbon/zeolite mixture which absorbs odors and gases as well as a proprietary blend to remove Ammonia, a common irritant associated with indoor pets. HEPA = High Efficiency Particle Arresting. Filters 99.97 percent of all particles down to 0.3 Microns in size. Zeolite = mineral that is used to absorb gas molecules such as formaldehyde ammonia and carbon monoxide. Recommended for those with chemical sensitivities, allergies and asthma. Available in white or black. All Filters include a Permafilt Pre-Filter
